The new products are…

The SAW-020,…
A 0.020” peak-to-peak sawtooth pattern that yields the finer detail professional modelers require.

The VEX-040,…
A 0.040” concave groove pattern that produces a ringed “armadillo tail” appearance.
These two new tools also come with a modified upper plate that is tapered on one edge! This prevents the groove pattern from deflecting when making tentacles. But, if you want that more organic look to your tentacles, simply use the un-tapered edge.

Deflection at “A” causes misalignment of “B” and “C” when using flat edge of upper plate.

 

Minimal deflection at “A” keeps “B” and “C” in near perfect alignment when using the tapered edge.
