Rusty Robot from the Rusty Robot blog recently contacted me with some questions about my Tentacle Makers. We got to emailing and he showed me some of his SUPER AMAZING diorama work!!! It's easy to mistake the photo above for live action if you don't know what you are looking at. You have to go check this guys stuff out!
These two photos, above and below, are from his recently completed work "Lost".
He also has some great tutorials. Like this one for making 28mm corrugated steel as seen in the trench work below.
He also gave the Tentacle Maker Tool Box the highest marks possible in a review he posted a few days ago.
Rusty Robot has also become a great advocate of GSI's over Across The Pond. He's contacted a few brick and mortar stores and laid the groundwork for them possibly stocking Tentacle Makers on site! I just have to "close the deals," as it were.
Go check out his blog. You have to kinda pick through it because it is more log of his work (including when no work is done) than anything else. But, there are some real gems in there and stunning work like the artillery tractor above. Check out the dent on the top of that dozer blade! That's some well thought out and executed detail!
I've asked him to maybe do a guest post, or two. Let's hope he shares his dioramic wisdom!
