That’s A WIN!

DSCN0030
John Post-game.

I’ve been struggling with my CSM army since the beginning of March.  My record until last night was 0-1-8.  Now, after 9 games of horrible rolling and stupid mistakes, I eked out A FREAKIN’ WIN last night against John and his Wolf Guard over at Frontline.  Unfortunately, not having a sunny outlook about the game caused me not to take any pictures until the end.  So, this will be a wordy battle report of sorts, I’m afraid.

Precision Plasticard Cutting Made Easy

Finished Part

After writing last weeks post I realized that cutting those shapes may be a bit of a PITA.  So I thought I should show you all something I learned when robotics was my hobby.  I used to use the following technique on sheet metal with great success.

Extra Armor for your Rhino… Files Included!

Banner

I’ve known about eMachineshop.com’s free CAD software for quite awhile.  In fact, I designed the prototype SAW-050 with it.  On Friday I wrote this big How-To on making a power claw or Dread CCW with it, but I decided that was too convoluted to be of any use to anyone.  So, my goal here is to just show you really simply what can be done with this excellent free software.

Patent Pending!

Well I went ahead and did it.  I applied for a Provisional Utility Patent with the U.S. Patent Office through LegalZoom for all of the Tentacle Makers.  I now have my official filing number from the US Government!

I wasn't originally going to do it but then I found out it's completely TAX DEDUCTIBLE!  That's a big deal when you are a 1099 contractor like I am.  Further, it looks really good on a resume.

20k Eyeballs!

Green Stuff Industries has just surpassed 20k eyeballs!
(10,000 page views!)

I was hoping to celebrate with a new product release, but the Chain Maker I'm working on is a tough nut to crack and is therefore still in the prototype stage.

I'd like to say "Thanks!" to the following referring blogs (in no particular order):

Fritz 40k
Dark Future Games
The Miniatures Page
From The Warp
Black Matt's Black Legion Blog

The massive amount of traffic and the positive feedback GSI has gotten from their readers has been stupendous!  Keep up the good work!
